Score your first publication! Submit your article to LOVA
DEADLINE: AUGUST 15th, 2017
LOVA offers a platform for students, graduates and other people within and outside of academia with an interest in gender and diversity issues from an anthropological perspective. Every year we publish a journal with research articles, essays, columns, interviews, book reviews and announcements. This year, the editorial board of LOVA Journal calls for contributions dealing with topics and questions related to the main subject of the 2017 LOVA International Conference: Ethnographies of Gender and Mobility.
LOVA especially encourages Master’s and PhD students to publish their ideas and findings in the journal. You can use your Master’s thesis and other assignments as a source for your contribution. Our editorial board will give you support and feedback. Of course LOVA Journal also very much welcomes contributions of graduates working within a non-academic environment or employed by a university or research institution.
Submissions to our Journal will be selected for publication according to (ethnographic) quality, originality and methodological and/or theoretical novelty. Besides written contributions, we also call for visual material. We are looking for illustrations, photographs, maps, info-graphics – all of which can be experiential and experimental.
Please, use our guidelines for manuscripts closely.
The editors of the LOVA Journal value good readability. Please, pay special attention to a correct use of English grammar and make sure that your contribution is sufficiently checked before submission. We will not accept contributions that do not attain a basic good level of academic English.
For further information please contact the editor in chief Silvia Herrero Simancas at email@example.com.
